Have been doing some concept art and thumbnails for a potential client, and have gotten reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallll sporadic about when and where I sketch in the several weeks before I have begun attempting to catch up posting...

Alien Octo-Slugs are cool...especially when wielding crazy lazer guns, and rocket launchers, boomerangs, and insect repellent...
...and yet even cooler and more cosmic when photo-negged out...

Instead of shading it as I was tempted to do, I left it somewhat clean as line art, so that I might try to properly render color in it...

03/02/11--"MIXED MEDIA"...?

"Old Skool" tagging...carved A. Tiger into the wall of the new "Shack" section of "Mort's" in the brand new MU Student Center...

...willfull destruction of University property by one way of looking at it...
...historic preservation and tradition by another...
(in truth, there is a written invitation to carve in the wood there, so I am not much of an outlaw).

...and below, I "tagged" a time capsule put together outside the new Student Center a few months back...

If these aren't examples of mixed media between time capsules and carved walls, I dont' know what is...
